The Travelling Rose Collection is my latest, with an exciting concept. To quote from one of the buyers at Sydney Fashion Exposed who described it as a thinking, intelligent collection. My thoughts are that I am listening to my client's needs as well as being true to the San Nizet style-classical, wearable, a little different and quirky, quality at a competitive price and Australian Made. The collection caters for the changeable climates and needs of my clients who travel globally as well as those travelling interstate in this vast country of Australia where the temperatures often differ vastly and where the power of layering comes to play.
As an example: the sleeveless tops with brightly coloured overlay looks amazing under a heavier jacket or jumper and is comfortable without the bulk. Have a browse through my other stylist tips in the catalogue and enjoy the travel pictures. Forward onto others who love fashion too!
Always great to hear from you,

Sydney here I come
|
![]() |
Well, the time has finally arrived and tomorrow I will be flying down to Sydney with a team of seriously fabulous Sunshine Coast fashion designers to represent our region at Sydney Fashion Exposed. Talk about a busy and productive lead up to the event - I have been buzzing around making sure I have everything I need to launch my new Travelling Rose Collection. Let me tell you, just like Jenny in the pic, I will be raising a glass (with wine not water) and breathing a huge sigh of relief the minute I get settled in Sydney. My new Travelling Rose Collection is feminine, practical and comfortable, but more than that, they are 'smart garments'. I have included design features that incorporate personal safety and security to provide more peace of mind when travelling. These features include nifty pocket attachments, secret compartments, fobs and loads of quirky hidden features that ensure your valuables stay that way...What did I tell you?... this is a range that is really smarter than the average garment. Of course, the added bonus is that I have chosen beautiful, breathable, quality fabrics, to create these savvy and unique designs. This comprehensive travelling wardrobe combines casual, practical, comfortable daywear with added glamour pieces that will transform them for functions, dinners and evening wear. I have put a sneak peak of the collection on my home page www.sannizet.com.au, but when I get back from Fashion Exposed I will be ready to reveal these little beauties to you gorgeous people. Make sure you get in early to be the first with a classic Travelling Rose 'smart garment'! I am taking bookings now via email for private and group viewings of the Travelling Rose Collection at my studio after the 10th of March, so don't miss out. Email me a suggested date and time at sandra@sannizet.com.au and I will get back to you as soon as I can. ![]() Wish me luck! See you next week. Sandra xx |

Dear, |

The Politics of Style No matter your political disposition, you must agree that our PM, Julia Gillard is certainly giving the camisole under her jacket a great workout! I swear she was wearing one of my San Nizet great little shimmery, luxe satin camis during one of her appearances. These versatile camisoles are so easy to wear during spring. They are great on their own when it's warmer, but then just add a cardy or a jacket when the evening cools down. Too easy! All she needs is one of my San Nizet loop scarfs to help her accessories! Talk about an easy to use, stylish accessory. Available in a range of colours, you can use one of these to dress up practically anything. Both the cami and loop scarf are now available online - click on the image below and you can check out the colours and styles! |
Client Testimonial "I was amazed
that my new loop scarf was such a breeze to tie! I have worn it with over three quarters of my wardrobe! It is so light on my neck!" Shirley |

The linen/silk sunglasses range released just before Christmas in the studio proved to be very popular and they never did get to be posted on the Limited Editions Gallery because the small trial range has nearly sold out.
A bonus with the smaller sunglass and reading glasses case is that I can actually find them now! I have a pair for each of the areas of the studio and my home where I tend to read, and when they are in the case I can spot them easily. Next year I am going to make all of my cases to match the decor of my home but then thats me ~ hugely into interior design as well as fashion design.

Featuring the versatile Swing Sleeve Black Top that YOU can take part in designing to match Your colours in Your wardrobe. Some of my clients work closely with colour stylists as I often do as a fashion stylist, and some of these clients have a yearning to try their colour creativity with some of my styles and fabrics. So as a designer I try to accommodate their diverse needs. With this in mind I am happy to change the coloured trim features which are the light net fabric & grosgrain ribbon of the Swing Sleeve Top to a colour that suits your needs and at NO EXTRA COST to you.
For example ... Purple or teal or hot pink would look amazing as a trim for the tribal black & white print sleeve. The options are not as prevalent for the tribal royal blue /white & grey combo but we can certainly work on something together.
